6. Introduction The intellectual development of a scholar practitioner includes a tremendous amount of facilitated growth and change in the area of writing and the development of a scholarly voice. To be a change agent of writing for our students, dissertation and doctoral study chairs need to have a variety of strategies and tools to support a collaborative writing environment.

7. Introduction By implementing technology tools including digital graphic organizers, screen sharing, and advanced Word features, faculty can bridge the distance to provide a scaffolded learning experience that is inclusive of multiple learning styles.

Survey Results Encourage them to write in phases, with a first draft that has permission to be a mess. :) I give them ideas for breaking the writing process down into smaller pieces, using checklists to help them move through what can be a daunting task. 19. Survey Results Align foundation course skills with assessment. Then assess to see if a student has the skills. If not provide mandatory remediation. I am curious to hear what other faculty do right now or have in mind for collaborating with students on research projects. I would like to do that in the context of my teaching and scholarship at Walden, too. Encouragement about what collaboration is... that it isn't dividing the task into small parts and assigning them, but that they must co-create new knowledge as a group
