WHAT IS BULLYING? BULLYING IS INTENTIONAL, REPEATED HURTFUL ACTS, WORDS OR OTHER BEHAVIOR COMMITTED BY ONE OR MORE CHILDREN AGAINST ANOTHER. THESE NEGATIVE ACTS ARE NOT INTENTIONALLY PROVOKED BY THE VICTIMS, AND FOR SUCH ACTS TO BE DEFINED AS BULLYING AN IMBALANCE OF POWER MUST EXIST BETWEEN THE BULLY AND THE VICTIM.

RESPECT YOU MUST SHOW RESPECT TO EVERYONE REGARDLESS OF RACE, COLOR, NATIONAL ORIGIN, SEX, AGE, MARITIAL STATUS, PARENTAL STATUS, PHYSICAL CONDITION, OR ANY OTHER PERCEIVED DIFFERENCES.

IF THAT STUDENT CONTINUES TO BULLY, TELL A TEACHER/ADULT IF THE BULLY BEHAVIOR CONTINUES AFTER TEACHER/ADULT INTERVENES, GO TO THE OFFICE AND FILL OUT A STUDENT STATEMENT ADMINISTRATION WILL GET INVOLVED WITH DISCIPLINARY ACTION IF THE BULLY HAS NOT STOPPED BEHAVIOR AFTER PROCEDURE WAS FOLLOWED

Reporting Reporting is when you are trying to stop or prevent someone from getting hurt or a crime is being committed

Ratting Ratting is when someone is not being physically or emotionally hurt. Instead, someone is trying to: 1.Get someone in trouble 2.Have someone else solve a problem they could solve 3.Get your own way in a situation

Online Reporting at EPISD.org Detailed Instructions: If you would like to report bullying incidents, criminal acts relating to one of our campuses, or other disciplinary concerns, please complete the sections above. You do not need to leave your name; however, please be as specific as possible. Leaving times, dates, locations and other information is crucial to resolving your concerns. Again, you do not need to leave your name unless you want the principal to follow up with you. All messages will be taken seriously and will be worked as promptly as possible. This website is checked daily by principals or their staff. That said, if you are experiencing a serious problem that needs immediate attention; you are urged to tell a teacher, school leader or other trusted adult as soon as possible. If you are a victim of a criminal act or know of someone that intends on committing a criminal act involving any of our campuses, the EPISD Police Department can be contacted at (915) 887-6880 on a 24-hour basis, 365 days a year.
