Intro Breeze is a rich web communication system that lets you reach your audience anytime with engaging multimedia content. And, because Breeze is deployed using Macromedia Flash Player, already installed on more than 98% of browsers worldwide, your audience can join your Breeze online meetings, training courses and on- demand presentations instantly. I currently use Breeze in several of my courses to reach students when I am traveling or just want to produce a lecture I can use several times without repeating the content over and over again.

Setting up your Breeze account For account set up: click the link provided below. Include your name, department in the email. Once you have received your password proceed to the Breeze log in screen. The link is listed below.

PowerPoint Plug-in Login to the Breeze Manager using your browser. Click on the Home tab. Select the“Getting Started” link under Learn: Click on the “Install Macromedia Breeze Presenter” link under the Publish Presentations section. Click Save. When the download has completed, double click on the Presenter.exe file to install. If there are any issues with the download, there is a duplicate copy of the file provided in the materials area at the bottom of the page. Once installed, you will see the Breeze tab located in the PowerPoint interface.

Breeze Lecture with PowerPoints Microphone set up – yes you need one! When ready, click the Breeze tab and select record audio. A box will pop up where you can test you microphone audio level. When ready click “record” and start your lecture. When finished with the slide, click “stop” and then the forward button to move to the next slide” continue this process until you have finished your slides and recording. You are now ready to publish your presentation to the Breeze server!

Publishing Breeze Presentation When you are finished with your lecture click the Breeze tab and select “Publish” – A general rule is to publish to a folder specifically named for Breeze presentations. Once your file is ready, Log into Breeze website: the link is provided below. Select home, then new content. Here you can name and set a custom url for your content. Select “save” when you are done. The information on the next screen is where your presentation is now located and ready for use! To view your presentation, type the content URl into your browser and that’s it! Your presentation is ready for use!

Viewing and Managing file Once your file has been uploaded you can view stats on the course, send email invites and change the file properties. Log into Breeze server and select “content” - from there your options are available. If you would like to view any Breeze course demos, I have posted links below.
