2 Toxic ponds of Canada Topic: landscape Type: Long shot Event: It is a toxic pond disguised by its beautiful refection on the surface Photographer: Gareth Lenz Why I chose it: I chose this photo because it gives off a message or the phrase “looks can be deceiving” since this pond along with several others along either side of the Athabasca river is toxic and is a health risk to people.

Why I chose it: I chose this image because it represents the unity between white and black people and that there is no racial discrimination between one and another.

Why I chose it: I chose this because it shows that the citizens of Cambodia are fighting for what they believe is right and show determination to see that through and the police officers riots shields represent a force that is stopping them.
