Responsibilities Ensuring the OHS policy and supporting procedures are implemented in the workplace under their control Demonstrate appropriate leadership behaviour and supporting people within their team to use tools under the safety management system Actively develop employee’s responsible attitude towards OHS Ensure WSR and First Aid Officers are nominated and trained appropriately

Responsibilities cont’d Promote effective OHS consultation with employees, WSRs and contractors Adopt processes of hazard identification, risk management and incident investigation Ensure OHS is an agenda item at every team meeting to enable discussion and consultation

Responsibilities cont’d Ensure all injuries, incidents and near misses and hazards are reported via the SIMs system within 24hrs. Report all OHS hazards and incidents through SIMS upon immediate notification Responsible for any visitors or clients that visit the premises under your invitation
