GeoVid - Technology Overview A collection of methods to acquire and manage video automatically tagged with sensor properties (i.e., meta- data like GPS coordinates: latitude, longitude and altitude, compass directions, WiFi fingerprints, lighting conditions, etc.) during recording producing a "sensor-rich video”. By cross-correlating meta-data with video frames, video can be managed, searched and presented more efficiently and in novel and useful ways. The current GeoVid system implementation demonstrates a system that consists of several acquisition applications for mobile devices and a sample video search and display portal. Android and iOS devices app have been implemented.
