Solid Rockets Technical Committee (SRTC) Education Subcommittee January, 2010 3 Professional Development Continue to alternate Lecture Series (one-half to full day special session) and Short Course (1½ to 2 days) on an annual basis. –Schedule at Joint Propulsion Conference only 10-20 minute technical talks at SRTC main meetings. –Enhance “technical” aspect of technical committee –Michel Berdoyes presented new nozzle technology this evening –Looking for volunteers for future talks “Advanced Solid Rockets” short course for 2010 JPC. –Similar to the well received 2008 course (an abridged version of UAH solids course with mixture of willing instructors from the UAH course and international participation where available). Possible Improvement: Addition of references to course notes to aid continued study of topic.
