2. File Viruses  A file virus is a virus that affects all the files stored in the computer.  Like all viruses, it can get into your system through e-mails, files, data sticks and of course, games.

3. Boot Sector Viruses  A boot sector virus invades one of the sections of the Hard Disk or, if you have an old computer floppy disk.  A boot sector virus puts its own operation instructions for the disk operating system or the Master Boot Record (MBR).  The MBR is small program that runs every time the computer starts up. It controls the boot sequence and determines which partition the computer boots from. If this gets infected things can go horribly wrong.

4. Macro Virus  Macro viruses are written in a macro language which is built into a software such as word processor.  This causes a sequence of actions to be performed automatically when the application is started.  Macro viruses tend to be surprising but relatively harmless.
