2 By the end of this session, you will be able to: Describe the diversity of participants who choose to become VISTAs Identify ways that supervisors can support a diverse population of VISTAs Discover ways to help VISTAs identify the skills they have and the skills they need to develop to serve effectively as a VISTA 2

5 Next Steps 5 Consider the following questions : ①What do you need to do during your first few weeks back at work to make sure your VISTA members have the knowledge and skills needed to accomplish their VAD? ②What do you need to pass onto your sub-site supervisors to ensure they have the information and resources needed to support their VISTA members as they work to accomplish their VAD?
