The process of resocialization can be defined as a chain of subsequent activities and required changes which delineate the development of the life situation of the desocialized person and point towards the person’s re- inclusion in the social life.

CONDITIONS The course of the resocialization process is influenced by a number of conditions that may facilitate or prevent the person’s re-inclusion in the society. The social maturity of the person; The professional perspectives and expected work activity of the person; The peculiarities of the individual life situation; The attitude towards the order and lawfulness in society.

RESOCIALIZATION ACTIVITIES General penitentiary activities: Sports; Culture and information; Specialized activities: Education and vocational training; Specialized exit work;

SPORT AND PRISON Sports development aims to ensure humane treatment of offenders and to guarantee respect for human rights; Creates conditions for the rehabilitation and resocialization of offenders; Upgrading of facilities in places of imprisonment for exercising sports activities.

SPORT AND PRISON Sports activities in prisons contribute to the meaningful engagement of prisoners during their leisure time; It limits the subcultural activity of the inmates; Team initiatives form teamwork attitudes in inmates; Sport trains self-control; It vents the accumulated stress, anxiety and aggression;
