Library Accessing E-Resources: Terms & Conditions of Use General Information: Access to and use of e-resources is governed by copyright laws and individual license agreements Misuse puts at risk the Library's and other EUI users' access to electronic resources (publishers can block access to all users if there is misuse by a single person) Disregarding restrictions (misuse) will result in the withdrawal of electronic access rights and possible imposition of institutional sanctions Users may not: Share logins/passwords Permit anyone to access to EUI e- resources with your login Systematically download, distribute, or retain substantial portions of information (such as entire journal issues or e-books) Modify or create a derivative work of the licensed materials without the permission Remove, obscure or modify any copyright or other proprietary notices Use the licensed materials for commercial purposes 28
