What is Financial Fitness? The goals of Financial Fitness are to inspire members to manage money, improve consumer, and practice financial planning. The income of a teen is limited, but the teen can still learn ways to use money wisely. Teens who use Financial Fitness will know how to manage money and gain the skills to EMPOWER a better future for themselves and the economy.

Objective NCFCCLA members will be able to empower themselves by learning how to be financially fit through the 5 units: Banking Basics, Cash control, Making money, consumer clout, and financing your future

Goals The goals of Financial Fitness are: inspire teens to sharpen their skills in money management young people who use teen-to-teen communications to share information. Provide teenagers with an opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills by being peer educators.

Purpose The FCCLA Financial Fitness national peer education program involves youth teaching one another how to make, save, and spend money wisely. Through FCCLA's Financial Fitness program, youth plan and carry out projects that help them and their peers learn to become wise financial managers and smart consumers.

Why is being financially fit important? Most teens spend a large amount of money each day, month and year, but most teens don’t know how to manage their money. Its important to be financially fit, because once the teen knows how to manage and save their money they will become financially successful!
