1970’s 1970: 1972: 1976: Had to get certified Title IX established:
"No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance” 1976: Title IX played a big role in the growth of the Athletic Trainer. More athletes = more jobs
