Intro Paragraph Your thesis statement always goes at the end of the intro paragraph so that your reader know what to expect. There is nothing in the world I would rather do as a job than teach students. Throughout my life, I have had many teachers; my parents, grandparents and school teachers. My husband and even my children teach me things on a daily basis. I enjoy being in school and helping others. Because of my family, my creativity, and my love of learning, I was able to complete my education and become a great teacher.

Body Paragraph 1 The biggest influence on my decision to teach would have to be my family. My parents were my first teachers and they always had patience with me. I’ll never forget when I was having a difficult time with my multiplication tables, my Dad quizzed me every time he saw me with some random series of multiplication facts. My brothers and sister have always looked up to me and I find myself always trying to help them out. I help them with their homework, riding a bike or their personal relationships. My Grandparents have also helped me become a teacher because my Great-Grandma was a school teacher. My Grandpa has also always stressed the importance of going to school. Make sure you add enough detail that leaves the reader satisfied with the amount of information that you have provided. Inserting things like short memories will help add detail.

Body Paragraph 2 Creativity in the classroom also helps student success. Not every child learns in the exact same way. I like to incorporate art projects with the literature to help the literature become visual. Sometimes it helps to draw a scene from a story. I also like to use new material to help students understand literary concepts. In the past, I taught Star Wars as an epic in order to help my students relate pop culture to literary terms. Alternate types of assessment also help provide a complete picture of the student. I like to have group projects, presentations, and art projects as tests beside the paper and pencil type tests.

Body Paragraph 3 I also love to learn. I began my education when I was five years old. I loved my kindergarten teacher Mrs. Steen and I wanted to be a teacher like her. I started my career by getting my Associate’s Degree at Daytona Beach Community College. I then went to UCF and received my Bachelor’s in English Literature. Once that was done, I felt I really wanted to go back to school, so I decided to go back and get my Master’s on Early Childhood Education. Eventually, I would like to get my PhD so that I can make an impact in the world of Education. I would like to research how teach reading and decoding strategies to struggling readers. To get that degree, I would like to go to the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. To stay up on the latest techniques, I am always going to different training workshops. Some of the training sessions include ESOL training, reading workshops, and writing workshops. If you look back at my outline, you will notice that the details that I expanded on are all in this paragraph. The bullets actually become the sentence with a bit of modification.

Conclusion Paragraph I really enjoy teaching. It is my passion and there are many reasons why I consider myself to be a good teacher. I learned from my parents and grandparents the value of education. I also got my start teaching with my brothers and sisters. Thinking outside of the box also helps me reach my students. I loved going to college so much, that I want to go back to get my Doctorate. I want to do that so I can make an impact on the field of Education. Your conclusion paragraph should not only restate your point, but it should also offer some insight to your reader.
