The ERG simulation/integrated studies (PI: K. Seki) ・ simulation/integrated studies global simulation of the radiation belts Miyoshi et al. [2006] Comprehensive simulations including both micro wave-particle interaction and macro processes, which can be compared with the observations, are necessary for the ERG project. As one of the activity of the simulation/integrated studies, Nagoya University starts the new modeling/integrated study project : GEMSIS. micro simulation Katoh and Omura [2007]

FY 2009. FY 2008. ・ discussions with THEMIS, ORBITALS, RBSP, Resonance, KuaFu missions about the possible collaboration for development of data-analysis tool at the ISAS symposium. ・ investigation of data analysis tools. The task-team has selected TDAS as a possible data analysis tool for the ERG-project. ・ Development of CDF as well as load procedures for gmag and HF radar has been started. ・ Agreement of cooperation with IUGONET, NICT, etc. ・ The ERG-science center has been selected for a institute project of STELab. ERG Science Center Timeline FY 2010- (TBD) ・ We have a plan for development of both CDF and load procedures for ASI, VLF, riometer as well as simulation/modeling data for pre-launch effort. ・ Some of data will be opened for public after confirmations by PIs.
