2. Why are presentations so useful? So many jobs require you to give some sort of presentation. What do they all have in common? They have to make people listen to what they have to say.

6. Intonation and pause: What is the purpose of using intonation and pauses? Want people to understand what you are saying. Pauses allow people to have some time to “take in” the information. “Today” The intonation changes when it is used in the start of a sentence and at the end of a sentence. “Today is the first day of the rest of your life.” “The future is today.” Which intonation would you use in these sentences for “today” ?
