4 ARTIFICIALHOME MADE 1st DAY: There was no change1st DAY: Did not change much but bread got stiff. 2nd Day: bread was a bit stiff, with no change in taste 2nd Day: did not change much during the day and got little stiff, also began to change in color 3rd DAY: bread got stiff and inedible3rd DAY: The interior of the bread was got more stiff and brown. The smell of bread disappeared 7th DAY: It became like Stone. It got molded. 7th DAY: There was no more extra change. 10th DAY: The color of the bread didn’t change more, but it was stiff and crumbly. 10th DAY:The bread got moldy and the smell of it was very bad.

7 Why do we use additives in artifical bread? To increase the acid of dough To avoid staling in a short period To add taste To increase its volume

10 Only 10% of fruit juice is in artifical one, 90% of artificial includes water, and additives. However home made is 100% fruit. Home made fruit juice can supply us the energy and vitamins we need during all day. On the other hand artificial one only makes us fatter and doesn’t give us anything except water.

16 HOME MADE 2Hours Later: Fries were stale, cold, soft. 1.Day: After a while some fries were hard and you could understand that they were stale. 2.Day: Fries were not as fresh as the first day and dispersing in a mouth 3.Day: Fries were getting darker in colour and wrinkling. ARTIFICIAL Fries were still hot but they weren’t crispy.They could be still eaten. Altough the fries were hard, they were stale Fries could be eaten but they were hard, cold and tastless. They still looked fresh and could be eaten.

17 HOME MADE 5.Day: Fries got wrinkled, hard, dark, cold 10.Day: Fries became smaller,and they were not fresh anymore. They did not look well 15.Day: Fries got hard, dark, stale ARTIFICIAL Fries looked like as first day but, when you touched them you could understand that they were hard. There was no more change. Fries looked better than natural fries but they got dark in color and stale.

18 **In frozen potatoes there is high-rate of an ingredient which is named “akrylamid”. If you consume too many akrylamid you may have obesity, arteriosclerosis and inflammation on your skin.,After the potatoes are fried in oil; they are packaged in a cold temperature. This is why they remain fresher than home-made potatoes for a longer period.

25 A kilo of tomato sauce is produced approximately out of 6 kilos of tomatoe. This is called brixi. And if a sauce isn’t produced at this ratio, then the quality of sauce will not be valid enough. If this ratio is lower, then the quality and additivies must be checked.

26 ARTIFICIAL 1st Day: Did not change 2nd Day: did not change but it started to get dry. 3rd Day: it got more darker in the color and adhesive. 7th Day: No change anymore. 10th Day: change could be clearly observed in means of dark color. HOME MADE Did not change it got a bit watery, and began to loose its bright color. it got more darker and its taste was sour. No change anymore. Began to mold.

29 PIZZA

30 There are some additives for artificial pizza These are: Trans Fat, Pizza dough additives yeast (Content : Diammonium phosphate, tricalcium phosphate, zing sulfate), Sodium Sulfite Artificial pizza was cooked in 8 minutess, but we cooked home made pizza in 25 minutes. Then we observed the change between home made and artificial pizza.

31 Home made pizza started staling first. We observed home made pizza got moldy after 7 days, we saw black dots on it. But artificial pizza got moldy after 15 days.

34 HOW THESE ADDITIVES AFFECT OF OUR HEALTH? Altough artificial products are much more tasty, they can couse a lot of damages to our body. They can affect our health in many means; -Migraine - Cancer - Allergy

35 Conclusion * Artificial products can be easily reached * Artificial products are tastier than home made products * The shape of artificial products are better. * The durability of artificial products are more than the home made ones. ** Don’t forget everything made by man is much more healtier. **Don’t hesistate to escape from time, try to make your own food.
