It’s easy to start a group chat and create a class poll using text messages. Curators filter the messages before they are sent to the group. The best part is that you can add photos to customize the look of each timeline. This website is especially useful for providing your students with a visual representation of a sequence of events. 6 Best Practices Best practices in second language learning is using a variety of print and non-print materials including authentic target language sources. Standard 1.2 Students understand and interpret written and spoken language on a variety of topics. It involves listening and reading in which the learner works with a variety of topics.

14 Novice Level Task: Students collaborate to produce a multimedia informational presentation for their peers using basic information in the target language where they imagine and plan a night out to the movies. Students must select a movie, describe the neighborhood, plan their dinner and calculate the cost of all their expenses. Students also must convert their total expenses into dollars and make comparisons between the cost of living in their country with other countries from the Spanish speaking world. 19 Intermediate Level Task: Students investigate ecology issues around the Spanish speaking world. They analyze and synthesize the Information obtained from various multimedia and written sources, and propose a solution in the form of a persuasive essay.
