It is a global system of interconnected computer networks that use the standard Internet protocol suite and it serves billions of users world wide. This consists of millions of networks such as private, public, academic, business, and government networks etc. The Internet is decentralized by design. Internet is possible to gain access through a commercial Internet Service Provider (ISP). Chongseok Park 5

No one actually owns the Internet, and no single person or organization controls the Internet in its entirely. The Internet is more of a concept than an actual tangible entity, and it relies on a physical infrastructure that connects network to other networks. Simply, when billions of network joins together it becomes an internet. Chongseok Park 6

The Internet protocol suite is the set of basic communication language/protocol used for the Internet. TCP/IP are two different types of layer program, where the higher level TCP receives and manages the assembling of a message or file into smaller packets that are transmitted over the Internet. Then the lower level IP handles the address part of each packets into the original stage. TCP stands for Transmission Control Protocol and IP stands for Internet Protocol. TCP/IP are known as the most important protocols. 8 Chongseok Park
