Class Size: Teacher /Student Ratio of 7 to 1 Ages: Two, Three and Four years old by September 30 ( 3 and 4 year olds must be fully toilet trained before starting preschool) Hours: Classes run from 8:15-12:00 for half day students Classes run from 8:15-3:00 for full day students Extended care services are available for children 3 and up from 3:00pm until 5:00pm. Schedule Options: 2 Year Old Program/3 half-days/Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 3 Year Old Program/3 half days/Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 3 full days/Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 5 half days/Monday-Friday 5 full days/Monday-Friday 4 Year Old Program/5 half days/Monday-Friday 5 full days/Monday-Friday

Our Preschool Curriculum consist of Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, P.E., Spanish Social Studies, Primary Years Program, Art, Library, and Music: Language Arts: We read to and with our students everyday. Our students also have library each week. We use Tucker Signing Strategy to learn letter recognition and sounds. Once letter recognition and sounds are mastered the students will use TS strategy to decode simple words and begin reading on their own. We integrate Spanish into our daily classroom activities. Spanish is also Integrated into our Physical Education and Art Program. We teach all of the steps in prewriting and basic handwriting. Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss !

We teach 4 PYP units of inquiry each year in preschool 3 and 4: Preschool 3: Who we are/Making “Sense” of Me: People experience the World by using their senses. How we express ourselves/We Are Blossoming: Children express themselves in their world by using non-verbal communication. How the world works/Wondrous Weather: Weather conditions affect the world and our daily lives.
