The upcoming World Food Summit serves as an important opportunity to reconsider the primary importance of agriculture - and the amount to which the global and independent nature of human society today requires a re- thinking of our attitudes and approaches to world food production and distribution.

Many types of crops can be grown in Saskatchewan successfully due to our great soil, heat and rain. But not all crops can be grown in the same regions because of our weather.

Saskatchewan agriculture style has changed immensely over time. First farmers which put their crops in by hand to now which the farmers have mechanical technology to do it for them.
