Project Overview Radio controlled car that responds to voice commands and sensory inputs. Designed for entertainment. Designed for use by hobbyists and people with limited use of their arms. Total projected cost $36,764.90.

Completed Technical Objectives Voice controlled. Responds to ultrasonic sensors. Manual override control. Wireless remote control. Will work independent of a laptop or PC.

Design Compromises Limited Range of Car. Finding consistency with voice recognition circuit. Limited Range of Ultrasonic sensor.

Recommended Additional Work Find different sensory system with better range. Add a more accurate voice recognition circuit. Increase the range of the RC car. Eliminate the delay time for switching between manual and voice. Add active braking system.

Demonstration Plan Demonstration will be performed on Georgia Tech Savannah Campus. One team member will operate the car. The car will follow voice commands. The car will stop when it slowly approaches objects. The team member will not be able to use a PC or laptop for assistance. The car will operate within 35 ft of the user.
