All rights reserved. www.clepa.eu The future of road safety In-vehicle safety technology makes driving safer Passive safety systems are important to reduce severity of accidents, driver assistance systems can support to avoid accidents. Both technologies together are enabling new safety functions. A basis surround sensing technology can be used for several safety and comfort functions. Cost reduction for system hardware due to increasing market volumes. Driver assistance systems will enable a step by step approach of automated driving. 14
