2 Consider Companies with Mission Statements that focus on sustainability and awareness of social impact. Focus on products that are:  Ecologically Correct.  Energy Efficient.  Cost Effective.  Truly Environmentally Friendly. Create a new aesthetic that is in harmony with the natural world and still looks fabulous.  Weight control to enhance performance.  Range of colors to enhance creativity of the design.  Textures to enhance visual interest.  “Un-breakability” and resistance to all types of hazards to enhance sustainability and low maintenance.

3  Making conscious choices to work with many more companies and brands that focus on sustainability.  Using products that are ecologically friendly, for example, are either recyclable and/or having some pre-consumer recycled content.  The latest in technology is no longer related to high cost.  Emerging materials technologies and computerized fabrication have been integrated, facilitating the designers work.  Savings in time and money for turn-key operations.  Cross functional operations.  Supply chain management.  Sustainable and cost effective solutions are a high priority. The bottom line – we all save time and money. A desire for a change in product selection from my clients.

6 Programs such as The International SeaKeepers Society play an important role as the first step for leaders and yacht owners that are concerned about a healthy & sustainable ocean. The willingness of being closer to nature and being able to explore this world has increased awareness of the importance in conserving the worlds oceans.

10 This design was inspired by studying the millennial symbolic art of the Haida, an Indian Tribe from the Pacific Northwest. Depending on the ocean’s food chain for their survival, the Haidas were one of the earliest recorders of knowledge about the migration of whales.

12 Esthec® Advantages:  Complete freedom in form, color and pattern.  Computer-controlled processing allows the end result to be known in advance.  Durable – it does not splinter, crack or break.  Wear resistant and anti-slip.  Does not promote growth of algae.  Timesaving for shipyards, the product can be supplied pre-fit.  Lightweight and thereby also reduces the weight below the water line.

14 LED lamps have many advantages over traditional lighting methods. These include:  Low energy consumption.  LED bulbs can last up to 50,000 hours.  LED bulbs are resistant to vibration and thermal shocks.  Directional distribution of light – task lighting.  No infrared or ultraviolet radiation.  Contain no mercury and remain cool to the touch.  Does not change their color tint when dimmed.  No frequency interference.  LED’s can be manufactured to produce all colors of the spectrum without filters.  Environmentally conscious special amber LED spectrum bulbs do not attract wildlife.

16  Sunbrella ® recycle program.  Aluminum will be reclaimed at end of life.  Polystyrene foam is resistant to hazards and biodegrades very slowly.  Recycled mesh.
