3. 3 What is APTLD? Asia Pacific Top Level Domains Association Regional Organisation for ccTLD Managers in Asia and the Pacific Cooperation and information sharing between ccTLD managers 25 ccTLD managers are members – more to come Secretariat based in Wellington, New Zealand

4. 4 Activity in 2006 Meetings Annual General Meeting held in Wellington, New Zealand in association with the ICANN meetings in March Second Members’ and Board Meeting held in Hong Kong (June 06). Final Members’ and Board meeting expecting to be held in Sri Lanka (September 06). Focus on IDNs.

5. 5 Activity in 2006… Established new groups Training Working Group working to develop training programme for ccTLDs Expanding staff support Appointment of APTLD’s inaugural General Manager made in June 2006

6. 6 New General Manager Don Hollander Extensive experience in Pacific ccTLD development and relevant industries Outreach mission to engage more ccTLDs within APTLD Strong Commercial and NGO experience Based in Wellington, New Zealand
