Definition of risk level : Level of priority: Risk Level Risk ranking based on: threat to life/ livelihood likely scale imminence likely pop movements regional implications Red Priority 1 Orange Priority 2 Yellow Priority 3 White Situations on Watch

Change in preparedness level : Preparedness/Response level as compared to previous period Increased levels of preparedness/response likely to be required Sustained levels of preparedness/response likely to be required Decreased levels of preparedness/response anticipated

Summary of Latest Report (March-June 2009) 15 high-risk countries (in red), including: -AFGH- SUD- CAR -PAK-SOM- CHAD -SRI L- ETH- DRC -IRAQ- ERIT- KENYA (new) -OPT- ZIMB- HAITI (new) Risk has lowered in some situations: Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Timor Leste, Burundi, etc.
