You will choose a leader or a city that has impacted the Pacific Rim in a significant way You will work in class and at home (if needed) to research this topic and create a presentation about it The presentations will be delivered at the end of the year Due: Thursday, June 14 This will be your FINAL for this class! Most work will be done outside of class…

You will use district databases, the internet, and possibly books to complete your research. You must have 5 legitimate sources These sources must appear on a Work Cited page that you will turn in when the project is due Work Cited page must follow MLA guidelines (just like when you worked on the CBA) Note-taking Guides (minimum of 4) Guiding Questions

Your presentation must be between 6 – 10 minute and have… A minimum of 8 slides; no more than 50 words each A minimum of 4 pictures Thoughtful design and possibly a video (not a requirement) A works cited page for your information sources (you can copy and paste this from your actual Work Cited page) A deep knowledge of your topic, interesting facts, a connection to our year, and an assertion of your opinion

On June 15: Be ready to present your PowerPoint (e-mailed or on a thumb drive) Turn in your note-taking guides, guiding questions, Works Cited page, and Rubric Note that this is your FINAL for World Studies!
