8. D UTIES OF A V ET Observe the behavior and conditions of animals. Provide nursing care or emergency first aid, rest, and recovery for the hurt. Administer anesthesia to animals and monitor patients. Take and develop x-rays.

9. D UTIES C ONTINUED Collect lab samples for testing(blood, urine, and tissue). Perform lab tests (urinalysis and blood counts) Prepare animals and instruments for surgery. Administer medications, vaccines and treatments prescribed by vets. Collect and record patient’s case stories.
