Family worship is time you spend glorifying God when you are together with your immediate, extended, and Church family Connecting to & strengthening your (and their) relationship with God What we heard last week When it comes to our immediate & extended family, we seemed to be aware & involved It seemed like we had less to say about worshipping outside of Sunday with our family in God (loving relationships)

Just who are we talking about? What first comes to mind: people who go to your church What we can’t neglect: people who worship elsewhere When it comes to spending non-corporate worship time with other Christians, we were pretty quiet… Is our Church life compartmentalized from our life-life? Let’s read Acts 2-42:47

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.... And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had …They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity—all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people… Acts 2-42:47

We often have a limited perspective of what worship looks like outside church Singing, praying, and studying We are called to worship God in such a way that we are a living sacrifice And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. (Romans 12-1) If we live this way, then any time spent intentionally being engaged in the lives of our family in Christ is worship God wants us to be invested! Immediate, extended, brethren
