EXPLAIN YOUR REASONING (6) Connective words: because, which means that, therefore, which will lead to, meaning that.

6 Mark Questions Which one of Richard Branson’s top tips do you think is the most important and why? (6 marks) I think having the right team at the top is the most important. This is because they can encourage staff to achieve the objectives that will benefit the business which means that they will be committed to helping you to grow your business, therefore increasing the customer base leading to revenue increasing or remaining steady. This will mean that the business can continue to compete in the market. However a drawback would be if the objectives were not clearly understood by all staff. If you have the right team at the top you can regularly communicate to your staff where the priorities are in the business that they need to focus on. This means that staff are clear on what they need to do to help to improve the business and can therefore focus on how for example, to attract more customers. This means that the customer base will continue to grow or remain steady leading to the business being secure in the future. However a drawback of this might be if all teams aren’t pulling together which means that there could be inconsistency in performance across the business Overall I think that having the right team is important. However it depends on the right judgement being made as to what the right team is and ensuring they have the right skills. I think having the right team at the top is the most important.
