SKYWARD’S SBAA

2. WHAT IS SBAA? SBAA is short for School Business Activity Accounting.
SBAA is the Skyward program for keeping track of the Activity Funds.
It is the new way we will start recording all of the Activity funds into the General Ledger.

3. SBAA WILL REPLACE QUICKBOOKS SOON
SBAA allows for simultaneous update to the District’s General Ledger.
SBAA eliminates the need for separate bank accounts at Elementary and Intermediate Campuses.
Payments will be handled as Due to Due From flowing through Skyward’s SBAA module.
Issues related to use of the old version of Quickbooks will be eliminated.

4. SBAA
With SBAA you will be able to perform the same functions as Quickbooks, such as :
Check Requests
Cash Receipts
Journal Entries
Bank Reconciliations
and much more…

5. SBAA You will also be able to run many reports, such as:
Balance Sheet Account Ledger reports
Account Activity reports
Vendor and Vendor 1099 reports
Check Request reports
Check Reconciliation reports
Cash Receipt reports
Journal Entry reports
Audit reports

6. SBAA CONVERSION
Skyward trainer will be onsite August 26th to train District staff and High School Bookkeepers.
High School conversions will occur first.
Other campuses will follow.
Goal – All 1099’s in Skyward for 2016.
