1) MECHANICAL TECHNICAL FEATURES A140 AIR
External dimension 165 mm 100 mm First height solution The new Air has two different carters for covering: The first type in this slide is the one adopted for Compact A100, 100 mm of height
11
1) MECHANICAL TECHNICAL FEATURES A140 AIR
External dimension 140 mm Second height solution The second carter is 140 mm of height The customer techcnical/aesthetical needs will determinate the selection of one of these carters.
12
1) MECHANICAL TECHNICAL FEATURES A140 AIR
Example of customer’s need driving carter selection 140 mm 1st sample of 140mm carter: This carter covers the attaching Break Out System profile
13
1) MECHANICAL TECHNICAL FEATURES A140 AIR
Example of customer’s need driving carter selection 100 mm 2nd sample of 100 mm carter: This profile is suggested in case of low roof installation and together with TK20 profiles
14
1) MECHANICAL TECHNICAL FEATURES A140 AIR
External dimension 140 mm - second solution - Both carters have Pre-fractures “easy to break” to adapt to the leaf spessor
15
1) MECHANICAL TECHNICAL FEATURES A140 AIR
Profile for panel Two panel profiles will be available : The first expressely made for 140mm carter in order to allign the sliding movement with the fixed panel.
16
1) MECHANICAL TECHNICAL FEATURES A140 AIR
Profile for panel The second one to be used with both carters.

1) MECHANICAL TECHNICAL FEATURES A140 AIR
Main profile Extruded aluminum with fixing holes for vertical and horizontal adjustment (as other FAAC operator)
19
1) MECHANICAL TECHNICAL FEATURES A140 AIR
Main profile The NEW sliding trolley guide is realized in a special alloy made with anodized aluminum. The base of this guide is made with a midium-soft gasket in such a fashion to reduce noise and vibrations. 19
20
1) MECHANICAL TECHNICAL FEATURES A140 AIR
Leaf stopper The guide fixing is done by two clips which have also the function of leaf stoppers 20
21
1) MECHANICAL TECHNICAL FEATURES A140 AIR
Wiring housing In the main profile there are two sections for wiring housing 21
22
1) MECHANICAL TECHNICAL FEATURES A140 AIR
Trolley Carrying wheels made by polyamide - Adjustable counter/wheel - Height adj. +/- 7.5 mm with integrated cleaning guide brush. 22
23
1) MECHANICAL TECHNICAL FEATURES A140 AIR
Drive unit The new OPEN driving unit assembles in one supporting profile the motor, the control board and its transformer BUT NOT THE IDLE PULLEY. This OPEN assemble is an universal solution for every free passage dimension, keeping low yours and ours stock. (930 NSF actually has 4 driving assembles) 23
24
1) MECHANICAL TECHNICAL FEATURES A140 AIR
Drive unit fixing Drive unit assemble is fixed to the main profile by using a flat profile with only 3 screws This flat profile has 2 functions: 24
25
1) MECHANICAL TECHNICAL FEATURES A140 AIR
Drive unit fixing 1) Make easier the installation procedure 2) Allow an easy disassemble of the unit for maintenance, keeping the same driving unit position on the main profile 25
26
1) MECHANICAL TECHNICAL FEATURES A140 AIR
Drive module The following step is to position the idle pulley and the toothed belt. So the mechanical assembling is completed. 26

self-supporting profile
Projected for transom made with TK20 and TK50 profiles Fixing plates self-supporting profile The self-supporting profile has been realized in order to allow the installation between two walls, having a full compatibility with TK20 and TK50 profiles. It can also be part of the TRANSOM in case of customer request. 28

3) NEW WIRELESS FUNCTION KEYBOARD (SDK)
New wireless function keyboard for a simpler installation
31
4) SOFTWARE Characteristics
The new A 140 software will be similar to that used on the Compact A100 The precise specifications will be supplied just before the sales start 31 31
32
5) PRICE The prices of the new AIR140 series automated systems will range between the prices of the 940 series and the prices of the 930 NSF operator. 32 32
33
6) LAN CONNECTIVITY Automatic door The automated systems of the new series can be connected to the LAN network of a building The resulting advantage is that of being able to manage and control all the existing automatic entries from a computer or a remote site
