AACSB Accreditation Process Establish membership in AACSB Retain consultant Submit Eligibility Application to PreAccreditation Committee AACSB will assign a mentor Mentor visits campus University submits an strategic plan and accreditation plan for review and approval. Once plan is approved, mentor works with university up to three years as plan is implemented. A team Chair will be appointed two years in advance of the anticipated accreditation review team visit. Visit occurs within five years of acceptance of plan by the initial (not PreAccreditation) accreditation acceptance of initial accreditation plan.
