NUMBER 1 Take a vested interest in the company! --give them a reason to value your work, knowledge, and skill. --know the specific regulations, policies, core values, mission, etc. of the employer.

NUMBER 2 Show that you care! --be more than willing to do your part in good and bad times --go the extra mile to cut cost, stay late, forgo a raise, etc.. in bad times --this will be the person the company remembers in good times

NUMBER 3 Be a team player! --go beyond what is expected of you. --take the initiative to do the things, that you know will be asked of you, before it is asked. --If you see an employee swamped, and it is something that you are capable of doing and free to do, help before you are asked.

4) RAPID TECHNOLOGY GROWTH Job security for technology professional over next ten years Companies must provide their teams with the best equipment and resources, or face defeat from within and abroad. IT professional specializing in networking, installation and support in demand

5) DISTRIBUTED WORK Dividing time among multiple locations “Hot Desking”–not giving employees (especially the salespeople) their own desk in the office. A pool of fully equipped desks are provided and occupied as required & where a firm's databases and services can be easily accessed via wireless or telephone links (ex: home) Increased demand for home construction, renovation.
