Timeline 11/05/2010 © 2010 RIT Calendar Conversion Office Chairs and Directors Retreat 3 RIT Program Process Approvals to Oct 2011 NYSED reviewing programs to July 2012 SIS GO Live FALL 2012-13 FALL 2011-12 FALL 2010-11 In April register for FALL 2012 Convert SIS to Semesters Students finishing prior to Conversion ABLE TO take courses needed Hiring New Advisors/ Train them on STARS Train Advisors on NEW SIS Semesters BEGIN FALL 2013-14 Registration using New SIS Ongoing advisement for those finishing prior to semesters

Implementation of the SIS is a requirement for the calendar conversion to move forward – SIS will first be implemented for quarters – Advising will need a functional advising module to produce IAPs for students – Financial aid will need a functional module to provide assistantship – Admissions will need a working module to recruit students SIS & Calendar Conversion 11/18/2010 © 2010 RIT Calendar Conversion Office Chairs and Directors Retreat 4
