A project part-financed by the European Union (European Regional Development Fund) within the BSR INTERREG III B Programme CONCLUSIONS The projects describe how the First Division regions can develop in cooperation with other areas in defined development zones how region-specific development of population and economy is connected with the development of traffic, transport, connections, and services new strategic ways to operate as opposed to the regions normal processes The projects also deal with the requirements which a Defris region should be able to meet in order to keep up with development the competitive situation between regions the ways to activate and develop business
