The programme is open to all legal entities established in the EU Member States Legal entities established outside the EU may participate on equal terms with Member States on the basis of and in accordance with the conditions laid down in the association agreements (associated countries*) Entities from third countries may participate on a case- by-case basis but will not receive any funding * Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway, Croatia, Turkey, Serbia, Montenegro (association process ongoing)

Proposals must involve a certain minimum number of mutually-independent legal entities of the required type from different EU Member States or ICT PSP Associated countries. Pilot B = 4 partners Best Practice Network = 7 partners

Proposal coordinator registers with the EPSS on our call page and obtains ids and passwords for himself and his partners The consortium prepares the proposal, then submits it before the deadline Submission failure rate = + 1% Only reason; waiting till the last minute Technical problems Panic-induced errors Too late starting upload, run out of time

Proposal Part A Part A - Forms completed online on our server A1 form (coordinator) Title, acronym, objective etc. free keywords 2000 character proposal abstract previous/current submission (in ICT PSP or eContentplus) A2 form (one A2 form per partner) Address Contact person Organisation type etc. A3 form (coordinator) Cost and funding details

Participants possessing an FP7 Participant Identification Code (PIC) can use this number to identify themselves in the EPSS. Evaluation by independent experts on: –Relevance (3/5) –Impact (3/5) –Implementation (3/5) Individual reading by three or more experts Experts meet in Consensus group Evaluation Summary Report (ESR) Commission selection of proposals for negotiation (based on Overall score respecting the budget and/or numbers limitations described in the Workprogramme)

Make sure you submit the latest, complete version of your proposal Cover what is requested Dont write too much Dont leave them to figure out why its good, tell them why its good Leave nothing to the imagination
