8 2015-16 Financial Assistance For the 2015-16 academic year the University budgeted more than $102 Million for need and non-need based undergraduate financial assistance. Of this total, more than $66 Million was awarded via the need-based Villanova Grant for all students. finaid.villanova.edu

9 2015-16 Financial Assistance More than $19.9 Million was accepted by enrolling freshmen (Class of 2019) in need-based Villanova Grant assistance with an average need-based Villanova Grant award of $27,880. 75% of those who applied for aid demonstrated need 86% of those eligible for need based aid received a need-based Villanova University Grant. $37,889 is the average need based aid package. 11 PROFILE and FAFSA Forms Students should register for the 2016-2017 CSS Financial Aid PROFILE via the web at: www.collegeboard.org VU code is 2959 Complete the 2016-2017 FAFSA via the web at: www.fafsa.gov VU code is 003388 Complete as soon as possible after January 1 - Use the “FAFSA On the Web Worksheet” to assist in the completion of the on-line FAFSA finaid.villanova.edu

12 Submission Deadline & Notification Date PROFILE and FAFSA must be submitted by February 7 th All 2015 Tax documents and W-2 and/or 1099 forms submitted to the College Board IDOC service by February 7 th but not later than March 1 st Aid eligibility will be posted to the student’s “MyNova” account by April 1 st, with an award letter mailed by this date finaid.villanova.edu

Research Outside Scholarships Complete the FAFSA form as soon as possible after January 1st but no later than February 7, 2016 Complete the CSS PROFILE so it is submitted by February 7, 2016 Remember to keep copies of every financial aid form that you complete Villanova University’s deadline to apply for financial assistance is February 7, 2016 finaid.villanova.edu
