Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours. Apply for Financial Aid (FAFSA) Work no more than 19 hours per week while classes are in session. Attend one (1) personal or developmental workshop per semester held by Career & Student Employment Services.

Evaluations Done once annually per job. No one is perfect. Important for the student growth. Due approximately 8 – 10 weeks after employment began. Assessments Pre & Post Test Encourage students to complete

Funds no longer in department/division budgets. Students will be hired on a first-come basis. Students may be moved to Institutional funds once Federal funds are spent. Only budget managers can be the supervisor. Only budget managers can sign student timesheets.

Pay Attention to Employee Assignments!!!! o Each assignment is for a specific number of hours and each budget has only enough dollars to cover those hours. No individual may begin work until approved by Human Resources.

This Policy is intended to cover employee misconduct that occurs while the employee is at work, occurs while the employee is on College grounds or at a College sponsored event, adversely impacts the operations or reputation of the College, or is in some other manner College related.

What is misconduct? Any act or omission that constitutes a breach of the employee’s job duties and obligations that adversely affects an interest of the College.

Prohibited Conduct include: Violation of Declaration of Civility Failure/refusal to carry out assigned duties Adequate, satisfactory, reasonable manner Violation of written College policy or procedure Unsatisfactory attendance Harassing or threatening conduct

Measures include: Written Reprimand Suspension without pay for more than 10 days Forfeiture of next year’s salary increase Demotion Restitution Termination
