Women in treatment in the Czech Republic CONCLUSIONS: The highest number of treated women is in the age group 15 – 19 years The men : women ratio is lowest in both youngest age groups, in pervitin users in the Czech Republic is lower then 1 : 1 (in Prague in 3 youngest age groups) The trend of number of treated women is still increasing Treated women use pervitin more often then men Treated women are younger then men (55 % of all treated women are younger then 20 years) and they are more commonly in category pupil / student The share of pervitin use and heroin use among women grows with older age group; the share of cannabinoids use decreases The average age of treated women using heroin and opiates is about two years lower in comparison with men, in pervitin the difference is 3,5 years The share of treated women with inject administration of drug is about 4 % higher in comparison with men
