◦ MCC founded in 1939 ◦ Information technology started with a few community classes to teach Internet and basic business software ◦ Late 1980’s added first AAS--Information Technology degrees Business Applications Computer Graphics ◦ In early 1990’s, dropped computer graphics option and added an AAS degree in Computer Science (designed for transfer students) ◦ Few years later changed Computer Science to PC Maintenance and added an AAS in Networking
