Accountants – Spreadsheets and databases help businesses track sales and expenses. Journalist – E-mail and networks can be used to file stories from around the world. Doctor, Dentist, Lawyer – Doctors use the Internet to read the latest research papers in their fields. Buyer for a Department - Spreadsheets help buyers compare products. Office Assistant – Word-processing software helps workers quickly create letters and documents. Teacher – Presentation software helps teachers create and present lessons. Networks allow teachers to monitor student work. CAREERS THAT USE TECHNOLOGY

A resume is a summary, or review of your skills, education and work experience. A resume is a document that should be typed with perfection because you are making a first impression when the company receives and reviews this document. The information included in your resume must be true information and not false. WHAT IS A RESUME (RE-ZA-MAE)

Good grades Take technology related classes. Begin to learn about the skills, education and certifications you will need for jobs that interest you. Develop your “soft skills” which include your communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Keep learning and stay up-to-date with current developments in technology.
