4  Accountants – Spreadsheets and databases help businesses track sales and expenses.  Journalist – E-mail and networks can be used to file stories from around the world.  Doctor, Dentist, Lawyer – Doctors use the Internet to read the latest research papers in their fields.  Buyer for a Department - Spreadsheets help buyers compare products.  Office Assistant – Word-processing software helps workers quickly create letters and documents.  Teacher – Presentation software helps teachers create and present lessons. Networks allow teachers to monitor student work. CAREERS THAT USE TECHNOLOGY

6  A resume is a summary, or review of your skills, education and work experience. A resume is a document that should be typed with perfection because you are making a first impression when the company receives and reviews this document. The information included in your resume must be true information and not false. WHAT IS A RESUME (RE-ZA-MAE)

7  Good grades  Take technology related classes.  Begin to learn about the skills, education and certifications you will need for jobs that interest you.  Develop your “soft skills” which include your communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.  Keep learning and stay up-to-date with current developments in technology.
