ELOHIM Is the primary Hebrew word translated “God” in the Old Testament. “El” means mighty or strong. The “him” is a plural ending indicating more than one.

Genesis 1:1 could be translated, “In the beginning ‘Gods’ created the heavens and the earth.”

IS THERE MORE THAN ONE GOD? Here’s Biblical language… “the Lord (Jehovah) is our God (Elohim), the Lord is one.” (Deuteronomy 6:4 )
