A Q-4 Youth Enterprise Experience Program Copyright 2007 All Rights Reserved Evening Gown & Professional Attire Rental Sponsorship Program

Problem Statement Women, age 16 to 96—several of whom attend local churches, and work within local organizations, are unable to attend special functions, due in large to their inability to purchase a gown for the occasion. Local indicators reflect an increase in the numbers graduating, yet many of these youth are unable to attend proms, coronation balls, even weddings, because they lack proper attire. The cost for these dresses typically begin at $79.99 and easily reach costs of $500 to $1,000, in our community. Many low-income mothers want to celebrate their child’s special day, whatever the event, but are unable to afford the gown necessary for them to “fit in”. An employee may wish to attend an annual banquet at their job, but are unable to because the only outfit they have to wear to work is a uniform. Women need a low-cost gown and attire renting program. We are that program.
