OURSELF WARPEACE I Peter 2: 11. Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Colossians 3: 15. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Proverbs 17: 1. Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife.

PEACE=CONTENTMENT Hebrews 13: 5. Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Philippians 4: 11. Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. Colossians 3: 5. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

CONTENTMENT…COVETOUSNESS Romans 8:6. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Rom 7:14. For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. The Ten Commandments began with a prohibition of idolatry, and they end with a prohibition of covetousness, which is idolatry:

IN CLOSING I Thessalonians 5: 23. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. II CORINTHIANS 13: 11. Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
