1. The Letter

2. My last days I had with my sister, I spent time with her in the hospital

3. I didn’t know what I was going to say, I just wanted her to accept her mothers belongings.

4. Everything she left behind, it was all very important to her.

5. She rewrote this letter over and over again, making it perfect in every way
Even talked about the day I would have to take it to Elaine

6. That day had come sooner then we both excepted..

7. I didn’t no what I was going to do, I didn’t want to just give up
Would Elaine ever listen to me?

8. As I read the letter and began to tear up, I realized, there was still hope

9. To my daughter Elaine,
I was scared, but I loved you

10. You were taken away from me..

11. How could I forget?

12. I prayed that somehow you’d know you had a mother who love you.

13. From your loving mother.

14. I was pacing back and fourth, re-doing things over and over, not knowing what I was going to do, I wanted to give up..

15. Before I answered, I thought of anyone who it could possibly be..

16. It was Elaine! I didn’t want to let her go
I was so happy Elaine had finally accepted me as family

17. I gave the letter to Elaine, explained how important it was to her mother
Explained how she was taken away from us, we all love her and didn’t want to lose her!

18. Everything felt perfect!
Elaine had to meet Nellie, before it was too late..
