5. Answer each Question The purpose of the research is to answer the research questions! Present each question and then present the results of your analysis that provide the answer to each individual research question. Present answers in the way the reader expects to see them. For example: An increase in daily time spent watching TV was strongly associated with an increase in cholesterol concentration in males aged 45 to 65 years, r s (98) =.729, p <.001.

6. Present and Interpret Results Present tables and charts nicely in APA format. Provide an interpretation of charts in the paragraph before they are presented in your research report. Final note about the results and discussion section Remember that your credibility as a researcher is going to be called into question if you have used the wrong statistical techniques to analyse your data – make sure the right tests are selected and that all assumptions for using a test or technique have been met.
