 North Korea is located on the Korean peninsula next to china.

 North Korea is the most isolated country in the world. They are not part of the United Nations, they also consider themselves as a single party communist country. Not until 2010, any American was not allowed to enter with out permission.

 In 1910 Japan annexed Korea until 1945 when the U.K. took over Japan. To make it easier to manage they split Korea in two at the 38 th parallel. In the 1950’s they tried to combine the two, witch led to the explosive Korean war, which is still happening today.

 You must travel with a Korean approved tour agency, there are only a few though.  You must have a North Korean Visa. (130$)

 There is no official Religion in N.K., but some people have said that they are Buddhist. All People think of Kim Long il, as a god and all good things are because of him.

 Pop: 23,113,019  Area: 120,540 km  Gov: Single-party communist state

 Same Geography as most of Asia, rolling hills and valleys. Mostly sunny, but winter temps. Can reach -30.  The best time to visit is Warmer months.

 Although Korea is in a famine, there is always something to eat.  Tour guides will get all food for you.  You may only go to a real restaurant if you get permission, and your tour guide goes with you.  ( the food may be strange, but its not good.)

 The official Language in N.K. is Korean, but just to be separate from S.K; they call it Chosŏnmal.  Hello: 안녕하세요  Bye: 안녕  How Much: 얼만큼요

 Korean currency: Won  Exchange rate: 100 Won=.11 dollars

 All of the cities have the same system of construction.  You cant go anywhere without you guide so ask them.

 I flew with Delta, the ticket cost me 900$

 I went with the P'yongyang Project.  Their goal is to create new bonds between America, and N.K.  They pay all amenities and provide all food. It cost me 2,000$ + 100$ for a Visa.

 Leave Denver, fly to Beijing China.  Drive to P’yongyang.  Take 3 tours per day.  Drive back to Beijing, go home.

 The DMZ is the boarder between N.K. & S.K.  It is the most heavily secured boarder in the world.  It is 151 miles long

 Sadly, N.K. is suffering. They are in a famine that has lasted for 10 years. 3 million people have died. A 8 year old in south Korea ways 30 pounds more, and is 6 inches taller than their North Korean brother.
