Decimals to Percents Remember The MOST IMPORTANT NUMBER to a percent. Remember place value. Desmond had to run to the store to get some flour for his mom. She told him to use ¼ of the money to get ice for her homemade lemonade. What percent of the money did she want him to use for ice? First change the fraction to a decimal. Then move the decimal the hundredths place.
