Notice there is NO page number, character name, and no real explanation or personal connection to the quote. The quote should be explained and then also a connection should be made. 19. “You don’t forget the face of the person who was your last hope.” Katniss Everdeen, Pg 85 I think the emphasis is on the word “last”. This person is your last hope- you're putting everything into them, in the hopes that, maybe, just maybe, you'll come out victorious. They're what you dream about when you're trying to look towards the upside of your unfortunate situation. This reminds me of when I focus on doing everything for my Grandma’s memory when things get difficult, whether it is sports or school. Reading Logs: Important Passage GOOD Example
